Here is a short video from the Elephant Nature Park, a unique project set in Chiang Mai province, northern Thailand. Established in the 1990's, the aim of the Elephant Nature Park has always been to provide a sanctuary and rescue centre for elephants. The park is located some 60 km from the city and has provided sanctuary for dozens of distressed elephants from all over Thailand. Visit Elephant Nature Park on Facebook.

During our stay in Chiang Mai we will visit Wat Phra Tha Doi Suthep (the Doi Suthep Temple), pictured here. A sacred place to many Thai people, the temple is located 15 km from the city of Chiang Mai. Our visit to the temple will afford us incredible views of downtown Chiang Mai.

During our stay in Chiang Mai, focus your mind during a peaceful meditation session at Wat Doi Sethup temple.

From Phuket, we'll take a day tour to the incredible Phi Phi Islands, which became known after being used as a location for the movie "The Beach." Phi Phi Islands are located approximately 40 km southeast of Phuket and are part of Hat Nopparat Thara-Ko Phi Phi National Park, which is home to an abundance of corals and marine life.

Flights from an Atlantic Canada gateway and three domestic flights within Thailand will be additional (approximately $1,700 per person based on 2018 pricing). Schedules and pricing will not be available until early 2019. Air schedules may require an additional overnight in either direction that is not currently included in schedules or pricing. Terms and payment conditions for airfare will be presented when schedules and pricing are available.

Payment Schedule
1. Deposit 1: Non-refundable deposit of $350 per person due on booking.
2. Deposit 2: $200 per person due May 15, 2019
3. Non-refundable final payment due August 7, 2019.

Travel protection that includes trip cancellation, trip interruption, baggage loss / damage / delay, flight / travel accident, and emergency medical coverage is available and is highly recommended.

About your Tour Escort

Terri is from Quispamsis, a suburb of Saint John, NB. She has a true passion for travel; new places, new faces, experiencing a new culture, learning new things; a career in travel was her destiny.

She graduated from NBCC in beautiful St. Andrews-By-The-Sea, NB with a diploma in Hospitality and Tourism but it wasn’t until she started working for Air Canada that she really got the travel bug. She took advantage of the travel perks while working for Air Canada and spent a lot of time in the Caribbean. Mostly Jamaica, Mexico and Barbados.

In 2009, Terri was presented with the opportunity to manage a local travel agency and hasn’t looked back since. She travelled all over the Caribbean while with this agency but her favourite trips were to Egypt where she saw every tomb and temple there is to see, including the Valley of the Kings, and California, where she drove from San Diego to San Francisco...that was her favourite trip of all. Her best travel memory came from that trip to California because it ended with a drive through The Avenue of the Giants, which is one of her favourite places to be, among all those giant red wood trees.

Terri is truly lucky to have been one of only a handful of travel consultants across Canada that has been trained directly by Disney at Walt Disney World, so she is an avid Disney fan and an expert in planning Disney trips.
