You will be warmly welcomed to Budapest by representatives of Stewart Travel Group who will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Stewart Travel Group will have an Information Desk in the hotel lobby from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm today. Hotel check-in will be available starting at 3:00 pm. If you arrive before check-in time, your luggage will be stored without extra charge. Once you're settled, spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Enjoy a day in Budapest!

Today we'll take a 4-hour guided tour of Budapest with an English-speaking guide. 

Buda and Pest were two different towns until the end of 19th Century: Buda is located on the hilly side of the city is dominated by the giant and impressive complex of the Royal Castle. Pest – the commercial and administration quarter of Budapest – is located on the opposite side of the Danube.

Discover the majestic Heroes Square on the Pest side with the famous “Millennium Monument,” which was built on the occasion of the World Exhibition in 1896, and the Museum of Fine Arts (photo stop here).

Through the elegant Andrássy Boulevard with the Opera House we take you to the Parliament and you can also admire the huge St. Stephan Basilica (exterior visit) and the giant Jewish Synagogue (exterior visit).

Crossing the river, you will see the famous Chain Bridge and reaching Buda with its castle district and get in touch with the history. You can also enjoy the great panorama from the terrace of the Royal Castle or from the Fisherman bastion. Admire the beautiful Matthias Church (interior visit included).

Afternoon: Return to the hotel midday and have the rest of the day to explore Budapest

Evening: Welcome dinner and folkloric show at Vadaspark Restaurant (transfers included).

The restaurant is in the outskirt of Budapest in a reservation surrounding, in a forest. This distance provides the all with the traditional "csárda" atmosphere in the restaurant - far from the noise of the modern world still close to the capital city. A large earthenware oven furniture made by artist-craftsmen, and the room's traditionally old tools, pottery, ensures the original atmosphere. Gypsy musicians and folklore dancers will entertain us during dinner.

Embark the Avalon Envision

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time until approximately ~12:00 pm when we will transfer from the hotel to the pier and embark the Avalon Envision.
