Day 1 - September 12
Depart Canada- Depart from Canada on an overnight flight to Europe
Day 2 - September 13
Arrive and Medieval KilkennyYou will be met on arrival at Dublin Airport by your friendly Tour Manager and local driver before we journey south to medieval Kilkenny. En route we undertake a guided tour of the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens, home to many of Ireland’s most famous former, and most recent champion racehorses. While you are here, you can take a stroll through the Japanese Gardens, a mix of western and eastern cultures and one of the most beautiful gardens of its kind in Europe. This evening, we will dine as a group at our hotel. After dinner you may wish to visit Kyteler’s Pub, a local favourite where you can enjoy a refreshing pint and a live music session. Be on the lookout for resident ghost Dame Alice while you are here!
Day 3 - September 14
Castles & BlarneyWe travel (not a long way) to Tipperary and visit one of Ireland’s best-preserved castles, Cahir Castle for a guided tour. Next, we journey to the village of Blarney where the energetic amongst you may wish to climb the 127 steps for the chance to kiss the ‘stone of eloquence. This evening, we will enjoy dinner together at our hotel.

Day 4 - September 15
Ring of KerryAfter a leisurely morning, we make the short drive to the heritage town of Kenmare. Our journey will take us to the edge of Ireland passing through quaint towns and villages, including Moll’s Gap, a mountain pass that offers breathtaking views of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks mountains. Later this evening you are invited to Quill’s Farmhouse for a traditional Irish dinner and entertainment.

Day 5 - September 16
Cliffs and Ceilis
Heading north, we make a stop at the Foynes Flying Boat Museum to learn of the role that Foynes played in early passenger flights across the Atlantic Ocean and the legendary flying boats that carried celebrities, royalty and even refugees. Then, we will board a ferry to across the Shannon Estuary into the banner county of Clare to embark on a cruise along the Atlantic Ocean to view the mighty Cliffs of Moher. After dinner at the hotel, you are treated to an unforgettable performance by world-champion Irish dancers and some of the country’s finest musicians at Ireland’s #1 song and dance experience, Trad on the Prom.

Day 6 - September 17
Connemara & Kylemore AbbeyToday we make the journey into the wilds of Connemara and visit Kylemore Abbey, a monastery founded in 1920 for Benedictine Nuns who fled Belgium in WW1, before arriving back in Galway. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are at leisure Galway where you can enjoy a ‘night on the town’. We recommend you venture out to Shop Street, a buzzing pedestrian street that is lined with great cafes, restaurants, and pubs, many featuring live music.

Day 7 - September 18
DonegalToday we enter the romantic domain of W. B. Yeats where we will see sites in Sligo associated with the life of the poet. We arrive at our luxurious Castle Hotel in the late afternoon with some free time for you to explore the grounds and the castle. Tonight, we dine on a meal fit for royalty in the beautiful surroundings of the Cedars Restaurant.

Day 8 - September 19
Giant's Causeway & BelfastFirst on today’s agenda is a historic and fascinating walking tour of the Walls of Derry. We continue along the North Coast to walk on the shoulders of giants and the famous UNESCO world heritage site, the Giant’s Causeway. Dinner is at our hotel this evening.

Day 9 - September 20
Titanic & Crumlin Road GaolWe undertake a panoramic tour of Belfast which will include the political walled murals along the Catholic Falls and Protestant Shankhill roads before arriving at the Harland and Wolff Shipyard to undertake a self-guided tour of Titanic Belfast. Next, we visit Crumlin Road Gaol where we learn the history of the prison that held women, children, and Republican and Loyalist prisoners. This evening is at leisure in Belfast; during your free time you may want to check out the Cathedral Quarter of town, where you will find an abundance of restaurants and pubs.

Day 10 - September 21
Gin & DublinThis morning, we will travel south to Dublin with a stop at The Listoke Distillery to carry out a tour and taste experience. Here, you will be introduced to the basics and history of the distillery and the distilling processes. We undertake a panoramic tour of the ‘fair city’ before checking into our hotel. Tonight is a free night in Dublin, a great city for dining where you can not only indulge in traditional Irish fayre, but also choose from a vast selection of fine dining restaurants and bistros that feature cuisines from around the world.

Day 11 - September 22
Dublin's Fair CityToday is yours to discover Dublin. RIT recommended visits include EPIC, where the emigration story is brought to life, the library at Trinity College to view The Book of Kells, Kilmainham Gaol, Phoenix Park, and Glasnevin Cemetery. This evening, we are treated to dinner with rousing Irish entertainment at a popular Dublin venue.

Day 12 - September 23
Depart for your next adventureTour Ends. A group transfer will take you to Dublin Airport for your flight home or onto the next part of your adventure.
